Hey everyone! Today we announced my return to EveryoneSocial as CEO. This has been a while in the making and I couldn’t be more excited. When I left EveryoneSocial two years ago, the business and the market were in a very different place. We’d recently launched the first version of our product and had a handful of customers, but it wasn’t easy street. Most of the companies we were talking with at that time didn’t really understand why you would even want to involve employees in marketing, or prospecing, or recruiting.
If you’ve launched or are thinking of launching an employee advocacy program of your own, you know that a lot has changed. More and more companies have seen that employee advocacy works and is something they should be doing. 2015 was a major year for our company and the industry as a whole. We saw a more than doubling almost across the board – revenues, users, customers – and we think 2016 is going to be even bigger. We’re going to be detailing some of our own results in an in-depth blog post tomorrow.
So, why did I decide to come back? Our team and our customers. If you work with EveryoneSocial you know our team is second to none; day in and day out they work to make every one of our customers successful. And our customers, because they’re the real pioneers. Employee advocacy is a thing because of the early efforts of folks at Dell, Citrix, SAP and others.
We have a lot of exciting things on the horizon and I couldn’t be more excited to be back. Employee advocacy is social business and social business is the future.
